Pepper Jack and Bacon Poppers

8 oz pepper jack cheese
6 jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved
12 slices bacon
Preheat oven to 450° F. Cut cheese into 12 strips long enough to fit inside the jalapeno halves. Insert one piece of cheese into the halves. Wrap the jalapeno halves with the bacon slices; form/shape them with your hand and securing with a toothpick, if needed. Place on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes; or until bacon is evenly brown and crisp.
