Almonds
With all the options of different nuts it can cause you to go nuts trying to choose which ones to get! One nut to keep in mind for a snack is almonds.
With the serving size of 6 nuts, you know this is a power packed little snack. One-fourth of a cup of almonds has 204 calories and 18 grams of fat; you may think wow that is a lot! But if you look, 11 grams of that fat is monounsaturated fat and 4 grams are polyunsaturated fat leaving only 1 gram of saturated fat.
It does not sound all that bad now! One-fourth cup also has 4 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein; you are getting your bang for your buck with this nut.
Almonds can be added to your cereal, trail mix, or your favorite cookies.
