Breakfast

BreakfastBreakfast is exactly how it sounds, breaking the fast from the night before. It is important for your child to eat breakfast in the morning, if skipped it may be up to 12-16 hours before your child has eaten. If your child goes to school hungry, they may have a difficult time staying focus in class, resulting in bad behavior and not learning the material.

To make breakfast a regular meal in your household, you must first make breakfast a habit. It will be hard in the beginning to get yourself and your kids up to eat breakfast in the morning, but after awhile your body will start to expect food when you wake-up.  You don’t have to have eggs, bacon and homemade biscuits with fresh squeezed orange juice on the table every morning, but just a bowl of cereal and an apple will do the trick.
