Clydesdales in Tyler
The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are set for appearances in Tyler, Texas, including a stop at Super 1 Foods on Troup Highway on October 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
A team will also appear at the Rose Festival Queen’s Tea on October 8 and the Rose Parade on October 10 in Tyler.
The Clydesdales’ appearance is one of 300 made annually by the five traveling hitches. Canadians of Scottish descent brought the first Clydesdales to America in the mid-1800’s. Today, the giant draft horses are used primarily for breeding and show.
