Louise Brookshire Spirit Award Recipient
Linda Stewart, distribution systems director at the Tyler Distribution Center, has been named the 2010 winner of the company’s Louise Brookshire Spirit Award, named after the company’s co-founder.
The award is presented annually to an outstanding woman at BGC who demonstrates outstanding integrity, professionalism, service, and loyalty.
Linda joined BGC’s distribution operations in 1986 as an administrative assistant. During her career she served as a systems trainer, warehouse systems clerk, systems coordinator, and systems manager. She was promoted to director in 2007.
