Crack Those Crab LegsMost folks are enticed by the thought of eating delicious crab legs, but don’t know how to break through that hard shell to the tender meat inside.

 

Well don’t let your fear of this simple process stop you any longer.

 

It’s so much easier than you ever thought. Who knows, you may be hosting your own crab leg feast soon!

 

 

  • Break a leg off the body of the crab by gently twisting and pulling. You only need this step if you have an entire crab and not just crab legs.
  • Break off one section of the crab leg.
  • To open the thicker pieces you can use lobster crackers (like a nutcracker) or a small mallet. Some pieces of the leg will be easy to crack open with your hands.
  • Remove the meat with your fingers or a picker. You can even use the point of another leg!
  • Dip it or devour it plain. Either way you’ll enjoy this delectable delicacy with no trouble!
