Do a Better Breakfast
If you're the type who enjoys a fried egg, a slice of cinnamon toast and a sausage patty for breakfast, it's no fun trying to improve your eating habits. Everything you enjoy is on the 'bad list!' Try this: scramble up a serving of Egg Beaters or other egg substitute, toast up some whole wheat toast, and have a serving of turkey bacon. You'll go from nearly 500 calories and 31 grams fat, to only 169 calories and 6 grams fat.
You could improve even more—but sometimes baby steps are the best choice. You could make an egg white omelet, toast up some mixed-grain bread and serve some Canadian bacon and be all the way down to 137calories and 3 grams fat.
A change here, a change there...they all add up to a much-improved breakfast!
