Facility Services receives recognition in trade magazine
The company’s facility services department in Tyler has been selected a winner in Progressive Grocer magazine’s Store Design Contest in the Best Low-Cost Remodel category and received honorable mention in the Best Mid-Budget Remodel category.
The group won for their work on the Super 1 Foods store on Waggoner in Shreveport and received honorable mention for the the Brookshire’s in East Fifth in Tyler.
PG selected winners from contest entries based on innovation and functionality in a supermarket design.
“Our facility services team has taken store design at BGC to another level,” said BGC President and CEO Rick Rayford. “They take each new store or remodel project and make it unique and fresh, always putting the customer at the forefront of what they do.”
Construction of eligible store designs and remodels must have been completed between January and December 2010.
