“This program provides scholarships for deserving employee-students to continue their careers in the retail food industry,” said Rick Rayford, president and CEO for BGC. “We are proud of each one and wish them the best in their future endeavors at school and at work taking care of customers.”
Requirements include working for a food retailer and possessing a genuine career interest in that field, attending a Texas college or university with a minimum of six credit hours per semester, and successfully completing a thorough interview process with industry professionals.
FSA is a professional non-profit organization made up of food retailers from across north and east Texas.
