Green Baked Goods? You might be surprised!

 

 

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, you may be wondering how you can a touch-o-the-Irish feel to your table—or lunch box, or snack tray. And the answer may surprise you: the Brookshire's Bakery has it all!

 

From shamrock cookies to vivid green Springtime cakes…and everything in between…..you'll find something green for your St. Patrick's Day celebrations.

 

But if you have something a bit different in mind, you can still start with our bakery, and then add your own special touches.

 

• Get your favorite bakery type of bread and then serve it with herb butter (green, of course) made from softened butter and chopped chives, basil or oregano.
• Buy plain white-frosted cupcakes; give your kids tubes of green frosting and lots of colorful sprinkles and let them get creative! The same goes for sugar cookies, too.
• Donuts: tint some powdered-sugar frosting green!
• Buy a dozen unfrosted or green-frosted cupcakes and make shamrock shapes by grouping three cupcakes together for the triple-leaf effect.

What else? Your imagination is the limit.
