Grilled to Perfection

Grilled to PerfectionWhether you’re a novice or king of your craft, there are a few standard rules for getting the best results on the grill. Get the best steak you’ve ever tossed on the grill by following these simple tips.

            • Only turn the steak once while cooking. The outside won’t sear if you constantly flip it.
            • Use the right temperature. A grill that’s too hot will burn the outside of the steak before the inside is done.
            • Don’t salt before grilling. Salting before grilling draws out moisture and keeps the steak from browning.
  • Use tongs to move the steak. A fork will pierce the steak and let all the good juices escape.
  • Leave a thin layer of fat on the steak until it’s done. Trim the fat after you take the steak off the grill. This will help hold in the juices and flavors.
