Ham and Brie with Crispy Apple

Ham and Brie with Crispy AppleTired of the boring leftover ham sandwiches? Try adding sliced apples and brie!

 

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 25 minutes

 

Ingredients:

1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced

1/2 lemon

1 baguette

1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 1/2 Tbs lite mayonnaise

6 to 7 slices Ham

8 to 10 (1/4 inch) slices brie

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

 

Directions:

Place apple slices in a bowl filled with water and lemon juice to prevent browning.

Cut the bread in half horizontally so you have a top and bottom Mix the mustard and mayonnaise and spread on the bottom half of the baguette.

 

Drain and dry apple slices. Place ham on the bottom half of the baguette. Top with the cheese. Arrange apple slices diagonally over the cheese. Cut into 4 sandwiches and serve.
