- Milk should be stored at 40°F.
- Don’t store milk in the door. This is often the warmest place in the fridge.
- Don’t freeze milk.
- Don’t let milk sit in direct sunlight.
- Keep eggs at 40°F.
- Don’t store eggs in the door of the fridge.
- Refrigerate eggs immediately after purchasing. Don’t let them get warm while you run other errands.
- Use raw eggs in 3-5 weeks of purchase.
- Use hard-cooked eggs within a week of cooking.
- Don’t let eggs sit out for more than 2 hours.
