Holiday Photo Greeting Cards
Are you already dreading that mountainous task of sending out Christmas cards?
Making this a pre-Thanksgiving task will lower your stress level come December.
Below are a few tips to make this an easier, more enjoyable experience.
- Send a photo card. This eliminates having to write a long Christmas letter and gives your recipients something nice to display.
- Choose a photo or take a family photo early. Beat the holiday rush and take your photo to Brookshire’s photo lab or www.brookshires.com in November and have it turned into the perfect card.
- Get organized. Keep an alphabetized list of your recipients and their addresses on your computer. You can easily go in and make changes before printing mailing labels.
- Work a little at a time. Organize all your supplies in a basket where you can get them out easily. Work while you’re watching TV or before you go to bed. You don’t have to finish in one sitting. Spread it out over a couple of weeks. If you start early you’ll have plenty of time.
- Get your family involved. Let the kids stick address labels and stamps, or let them stuff and seal envelopes. Have your spouse sign some of the cards, too.
Getting started in November means you have plenty of time to complete your list and get those cards out the first week of December.
