Hempstead County FFA Chicken Cook Off – Three partners volunteered to assist with the chicken cook off for 27 hours.

Watermelon Festival – During the annual Watermelon Festival partners volunteered at the water station during the 5K run and assisted with the watermelon bidding and slicing. They volunteered over 55 hours during this weekend event.

Little League Baseball Fundraiser – Fundraiser was held in the parking lot and partners volunteered 21 hours to help the Little League teams in Hope.

Hope for Joplin Fundraiser – Partners assisted with a second fundraiser for Joplin tornado victims. They volunteered to drive the truck loaded with supplies to Joplin.

Hope for Joplin – Partners started a fundraiser for the victims of Joplin, Mo. They volunteered 28 hours loading a truck for Joplin.

Special Olympics – Partners volunteered to assist at the Special Olympic Games in Magnolia. They volunteered over 50 hours.

Hope Bobcats Game – Partners sponsored the Hope Bobcats home football game and they passed out recycling bags and megaphone before the game. They gave away a $100.00 giftcard.

Hope Band Boosters – Partners donated over 30 hours to assist the band boosters during the Hope Bobcats football game. They worked the concession during the game.

Komen Race for the Cure - Held in Texarkana at the 4 states fairground. Partners teamed with other stores and had a booth and handed out merchandise during the race.

Hope Watermelon Festival – Partners donated over 75 hours to the Festival. They assisted with the races, watermelon slicing and bidding on the largest watermelon.

Relay for Life – Many partners participated in Relay for Life. They set up a tent and played basketball, Plinko Board and cooked and served hot dogs. They raised over $1,048.00 for this event. They donated over 181 hours of their time.

A large group of employees went to Texarkana to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

The store purchased three animals at the Hempstead County Fair Premium Sale and handed out water to guests of the livestock show.
