It's Tough Being a Grown-Up

It's tough being a grown-up. You have to "eat sensibly," watch your calories and fat grams, and think about taking care of your heart health.

 

Wouldn't it be nice to just let loose and have a great treat like you had when you were a kid? How about a root beer float? Remember that creamy blend of soda and creaminess, with fizz and chilly goodness?

 

Well, you can still do that—but our version saves you hundreds of calories and lots of cholesterol and fat grams. So dive in. It's summer and you deserve a treat, even if you are a grown-up!

 

 

Cool Cola Shake-Up

Serves 1

Prep time: 5 minutes

A delicious no-fat refresher

 

Ingredients:

2/3 cup skim milk

1/3 cup Lite chocolate syrup

1/3 cup diet cola or root beer

 

Directions:

Combine milk, syrup and cola in shaker. Cover; shake until well blended. Pour into serving glass.


Garnish with cherry and chocolate shavings, if desired. Serve immediately.
