Thanksgiving Food Drive – Partners from several Super 1 locations in Longview assisted with the annual Food Drive. They set up, sorted, packed, marked boxes, passed out food boxes to the needy and cleaned up.

Fitness Dog Walk – Volunteers from our W. Loop 281 location assisted with the dog walk.

Juneteenth Parade – Partners from our S. High Super One passed out water and other items at the parade. They volunteered 48 hours of their time for this event.

MDA – Partners from Super One on the West Loop participated in the annual MDA telethon. They were arrested and the money raised for bail was donated to the MDA.

MDA Jerry’s Kids – Bakery partners raised $281.00 to help bail out the bakery manager.

Taste of Home Cooking School – Volunteers from the store helped set up and gave away gift bags to participants.

Dog Park – A fundraiser for the new Longview Dog Park partners sold hot dogs, gave out coupons and dog treats.

Longview Baseball – Partners worked with the boys on their baseball skills.

LBBA – Partners from Super One on W Loop 281 work with boys 7 – 8 years old teaching baseball skills. They volunteered over 19 hours of their time during March.

Longview Citywide Cleanup – Volunteers from store partners assisted the city of Longview with cleanup. They volunteered over 16 hours to this project.

Longview Half Marathon – Employees from Brookshire and Super 1 in Longview helped in the Refuel Tent Event at the Half Marathon. They handed out milk to the runners and talked to them about the benefit of the milk after the run.

Longview Boys Baseball – Partners at our W. Loop 281 location are sponsoring the Twins a Longview City team of 13 boys. They coach and train the boys to be better baseball players and to have fun.

Juneteenth Parade – Super 1 on South High passed out over 1,100 bottles of water, 500 freeze pops and other items were given away for the parade. Over 40 volunteer hours were donated.

Pups in the Park – Our West Loop location set up a tent at Pups in the Park and gave away bags filled with goodies for the dogs. Partners donated many hours to this community event.

The store on West Loop 281 had employees cook, prepare, deliver and serve food for 150 guests of a safety seminary sponsored by the Longview Police Department.
