Makin’ Waves
Get geared up for a summer at the beach with this fun wave-bottle craft.
What you’ll need:
Empty plastic drink bottle (20oz. or 2 liter; the size depends on how big you want the waves!)
Cooking oil
Water
Blue food coloring
Super glue
Have your child fill the bottle halfway with cooking oil. Add enough water (dyed blue with food coloring) to fill the bottle to the 3/4 mark. You replace the cap and seal it closed with super glue.
Once the glue dries, watch your child as they discover the gentle, rolling waves of the ocean!
