American Heart Association Walk – Ten partners participated in the annual Heart Walk. Most of them walked three miles. Few partners stayed at the tent and handed out water and granola bars.

Susan Komen Breast Cancer Walk – Eighteen partners participated in the walk for breast cancer research.

Dixie Diehards – Partners from the store cooked and served for the Dixie Diehards baseball team. The team is made up of special needs children and adults. Everyone is winner on this team. The store fed over 200 people.

Blood Drive – Partners held a blood drive in the parking lot of the store. They raffled off a grill for people that gave blood.

Blood Drive – Super 1 partners from our Louisville Ave. location assisted donors giving the gift of life. They donated over 9 hours to the blood drive.

MDA Telethon – Partners from Super 1 locations assisted with this annual event. They donated over 33 hours.

Life Share Blood Drive – Partners at our Louisville location assisted with a blood drive held in the store parking lot. 20 people donated and partners provided goodie bags for everyone.

Super 1 Foods partners held a birthday party for the residents at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home. Food and treats were prepared at the store and carried to the Nursing Home and served during the party.

Summer Camp for Children – Partners helped with activities and feeding the children at the camp at ULM. They offer a variety of summer camps for kids of all ages!

Veterans Home Cookout – In conjunction with the local civic group Super 1 partners cooked hamburgers for the veterans that stay at home.
