No Snow Snowmen
Since it does not snow that often in the south, sometime children miss out on the fun of building a snowman. You and your children can prepare salt dough to make snowmen for the winter season.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup salt
2/3 cup cold water
1 tsp peppermint extract (optional)
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Slowly add in the cold water while your child stirs the flour mixture. Stir mixture until you get dough consistency. Add peppermint extract.
Form a large, medium, and small balls and stack them on top of each other. Decorate the snowmen while they are still wet so decorations will stick. Let snowmen dry for a day or until hard.
