Owen named store director in Bastrop
Joe Owen, most recently an assistant store manager at Super 1 Foods in West Monroe, La., has been promoted to store director in Bastrop, La.
Owen joined the company in 1983 in Monroe, La., and worked his way up in bakery operations in Louisiana and Arkansas stores.
He was promoted to bakery manager in 1986 and later to production bakery manager, district bakery merchandiser and division bakery merchandiser before being named assistant store manager in 2004.
He replaces longtime director in Bastrop, Mike McCoy, who has transferred to Monroe as store director.
