Kees Park Trick or Treat – Partners from our Hwy. 28 East location set up a booth at Kees Park and gave kids a chance to trick or treat safely.

Zoo Boo – Partners from both Super 1 locations assisted at the annual Zoo Boo. They passed out candy to children that came to the zoo. More than 4,000 people came through.

Fall Fest – Partners from our Super 1 location at Cottingham Express Super One location volunteered at the annual fall fest.

Susan Komen Race for the Cure – Super 1 volunteers from both locations in Pineville volunteered over 60 hours to assist with the annual race/walk. All proceeds benefit breast cancer research.

Mary Goff Elementary School – Several partners worked on backpack item donations and packaged several backpacks that were donated to the school.

J. I. Barron Elementary School – Partners served cookies, juice and cake to teachers, parents and children who attend this school. They volunteered for 16 hours.

Cochon Delait Festival – This event is held on the same weekend each year and is a mix of Cajun food, good times and good music. Partners from both Pineville Super One locations participated in the parade this year with a float.

Pineville High School Baseball Game – Partners volunteered to work in the concession stand during the baseball game.

Swing for the Red Golf Tourney – Both locations in Pineville participated in the golf tournament. All proceeds benefited the American Red Cross of Central Louisiana and will support local services.

Heart Walk – Partners from both Super 1 locations in Pineville walked to raise money for the American Heart Association. Also, passed out fruit to participants.

High Baseball Tournament – Both Super 1 locations in Pineville grilled hamburgers and fried fish for six high school baseball teams during the tournament at Tioga High School.

J.I. Barron Elementary School Back To School Luncheon – Our Hwy. 28 E. location got involved with the teachers and staff at this school and cooked and served them a great lunch. The staff was so appreciative.
June 21, 2010 Pineville Kid’s Day – Partners assisted with the Kid’s Day at the Pineville Community Center. The employees cooked and served hot dogs with chips and drinks.

Cochon DeLait Festival – Our store helped with this three day event in Mansura, LA. Partners donated 8 hours of their time to assist with a float in the parade.

Super 1 participated in Zoo Boo at the Alexandria Zoological Park to help raise money for the Zoo. There were over a 1,000 in attendance. Super 1’s mascot Super Buck was one of several costume characters that made an appearance.
