Preventing the Spreading of Germs

Preventing the Spreading of GermsGrowing-up, we were always told to cover our mouths when we coughed and sneezed because when you cough or sneeze you are releasing germs into the air.

We also know that covering your mouth with your hand is not good either. Think about it; you cough into your hands, then you open a door, type an e-mail, shake a hand, and turn the light off. Now your germs are on the doorknob, your keyboard, and the light switch.

Since a lot of people do not follow the first tip of not covering their mouth with their hands, the next best thing to do is regularly wash your hands.

Washing your hand will reduce the amount of germs you are spreading and the germs you are picking up.

Another way to reduce getting germs is to avoid touching your eyes and nose because those two places are an easy entrance for germs to enter your body.
