Putting a Summer Splash in Your Water
Water sometimes is just so blah but sometimes it really hits the spot. One of the hardest challenges in eating healthy is to forgo those sugary drinks and going back to the basic beverage-water.
Summer time is when you should really be focusing on just drinking water. Here are some tips for making that glass of water have a ting of flavor.
First, adding a slice of fruit can always make water more appealing. Slice up some lemons, limes, oranges or even cantaloupe and add to a pitcher of water. This will add a subtle fruit taste to your water to make it not so plain.
Another fun idea is to take grapes, spread them out onto a cookie sheet and place them in the freezer. Once grapes are frozen add them to a glass of water instead of using ice.
