Shreveport and Bossier City See GreenThree Super 1 Foods stores in Shreveport and Bossier City, La., have undergone renovations and kicked off grand reopening campaigns August 3 and 4.

 

The locations are 2640 Waggoner Avenue in Shreveport, 3705 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport, and 1870 Airline Drive in Bossier City.

 

The Bossier City store held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on August 3. The Waggoner store in Shreveport held one at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, while the Jewella store in Shreveport planned one for 10:30 a.m. the same day.

 

The location in Bossier City at Airline and Northgate Road is a 47,700-square-foot store that received a 2,300-square-foot expansion within the existing building and a total remodel complete with a new image storefront and entrance canopy, as well as a new pharmacy and pharmacy drive-through. The bakery and deli departments were relocated and expanded, and the produce department received an expanded cooler. New coolers or freezers were added in the grocery, dairy and market departments, as well as a new refrigerated case line-up. Workers renovated existing restrooms and added new ones. The store also boasts new checkstands and shopping carts.

 

The Jewella at Greenwood Road location in Shreveport, a 54,600-square-foot store, received a new image storefront and exterior signage. A new electronic message sign was also installed outside. Inside, the flooring was redone with a stained concrete finish that’s easier to clean and more durable. The store received a new décor package and fresh paint. Workers remodeled the restrooms, leaving new floors, paint, partitions, fixtures and lighting. The store also has new checkstands, shopping carts and hand baskets.

 

The 65,200-square-foot store at Waggoner and La. Highway 171 in Shreveport features a new image storefront, fresh paint and new signage on the exterior. New signage was added to the fuel station, and a new electronic message sign was installed. The interior flooring was improved with a stained concrete finish, and new décor and paint was added. The store has new checkstands, shopping carts and hand baskets. All cases were refurbished and case lighting was upgraded. Restrooms were remodeled with new flooring, paint, fixtures, partitions and lighting.
