United Way Campaign Under Way
Brookshire Grocery Co. employees will be contributing to the United Way of Tyler/Smith County again in a Pacesetter Campaign in August and September. The company raised more than $140,000 through employee donations and corporate matching funds for the Tyler/Smith County area alone last year. The company supports a number of United Way branches throughout its markets.

Help us help Jerry’s Kids- All Super 1 Foods Locations, Aug. 15- Sept. 3
Stores will be selling mobiles in August and September to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The MDA provides research, medical exams, flu shots, support groups, summer camps for kids, and assistance with wheelchairs and leg braces for kids with many different types of neuromuscular diseases. Race for the Cure- Monroe, La., Sept. 8

The Susan G. Komen Foundation is the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network of cancer survivors and activists. Super 1 Foods is proud to annually sponsor the Race for the Cure in many different towns across the BGC market area.

 

Texas Motor Speedway Road Show- Texarkana, Texas, Tyler, Texas and Shreveport, La., Sept. 14-16

Super 1 Foods is proud to sponsor the Texas Motor Speedway Total Access Road Show. In addition to food, fun and festivities, there will be driving simulators, show cars, and lots of giveaways. Stop by and experience the thrill of NASCAR!

East Texas State Fair- Tyler, Texas, Sept. 20-29

Super 1 Foods is a proud sponsor of the Senior Citizen’s Day program at the East Texas State Fair on Sept. 30. This program is presented free of charge to senior citizens and provides great food, entertainment, door prizes and dancing.
