Stovetop Tuna Casserole

It's quick! It's easy! And you don't need any creamy soup, either!
Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) pkg wide egg noodles
2 Tbs oil or butter
2 Tbs flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar or other cheese
1 (6 oz) can tuna, drained
1 (16 oz) bag frozen peas
Directions:
Boil noodles until just barely tender. Drain and set aside. In a medium saucepan, combine flour, oil or butter, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are combined, and butter is melted (if using). Add milk and whisk until the sauce is smooth. It will thicken as it reaches a boil. Add cheese to the sauce and whisk to melt. Stir in tuna, peas and noodles. Pour into a large serving bowl, add the cooked noodles and stir gently to mix.
