Super 1 Foods team breaks ground at Carencro
On June 24, 2011, Super 1 Foods leaders, along with Carencro, La., dignitaries and officials, broke ground on a six-acre site located at I-49 Service Road and Hector Connoly Road.
The ceremony kicked off construction of the 55,000-square-foot supermarket set to open in spring 2012.
In addition to grocery, produce, meat, seafood, frozen foods, dairy, and general merchandise offerings, the store will also feature a self-service fuel center, pharmacy with a drive-through window, a bakery and deli, and an open-air section with seasonal merchandise and displays.
