Switch Your Dairy

Dairy products are healthy. But if you're diabetic, you need to control the amount of fat in your diet. So do your heart some good and try low-fat versions of cheese, milk, yogurt and sour cream.

 

They're just as tasty as the full-fat varieties with less artery-clogging fat. If you can't quite make the switch, try half fat-free and half regular.
