Take-out Turmoil

So you've decided to order Chinese take-out for dinner. Which choices are best?

 

Here are some tips:

 

Appetizer: A vegetable spring roll has less fat and calories than a chicken egg roll or fried shrimp.

 

Chicken Stir fry: Chicken with mushrooms (moo goo gai pan) beats spicy chicken with peanuts (kung pao chicken) and sweet and sour chicken. Eat it without rice to do even better.

 

Starch: Go for steamed brown rice instead of vegetable chow mein or fried rice.
