Operation Christmas World – Partners packed Christmas boxes for charity and loaded the packages onto a trailer. They volunteered from our West Monroe location.

Louisiana Pines to the Golf Girl Scouts – Volunteers from West Monroe Super 1 helped put out bags for groceries and helped pick up the bags for the Girl Scouts.

Woodlawn First Graders Career Day – West Monroe Super 1 partners took cupcakes to the first grade classes and let the kids decorate them.

Head Start Program – Our partners from our Super 1 location in West Monroe volunteered their time to read stories and participated with class activities.

Camp Quality USA – Partners from our West Monroe Super 1 location cooked and served hamburgers, hot dogs, shrimp roux and drinks to participants. All proceeds benefited Camp Quality USA to help in their year round support and yearly camp for kids battling cancer.

Career Technical College Trick or Treat Alternative – Partners gave out candy and Super 1 prizes to children and adults. Also, they gave out application and fliers about the company’s history. Volunteers from our West Monroe location used this event to educate about BGC and provided a safe alternative to regular trick or treating.

West Monroe High School Football Game – Partners passed out footballs, shopping bags, and registered participants for prizes. Also, they worked the concession stand and marketing tent.

New Vision Learning Academy – Partners presented a PowerPoint presentation to the first grade class that covered the new food chart, healthy eating choices and how to make a healthy plate using the NuVal scores. The students were given fruit and footballs.

Boys and Girls Club Triple Play 10K Run – Volunteers from Super 1 helped set up and run the 10K run.

American Heart Association Walk A Thon – Many partners volunteered to assist setting up the tent, tables and handed out fruit and granola bars at the finish line.

Shady Grove Career Day – Partners discussed smart food choices and introduced the NuVal system to the older groups. Also, they donated refreshment for the students.

Fire Prevention Week 5-K Run – Many hours were volunteered by partners during the 5-K Run. They helped register participants and assisted during the run.
