How can I use my health benefit card at checkout?

First, scan your items as usual. When you're ready to pay, select the "Health Benefits" or "EFT" button. Next, either swipe or scan the barcode or magstripe on the back of your S3 health benefit card. Your S3 benefits will instantly apply, and the savings will be displayed on your receipt.

What are health benefit cards?

Health benefit cards are typically provided by health plans and may offer customers a range of benefits including nutritious foods, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, vitamins & supplements, and more.

If I have questions about my health benefit card, who should I contact?

Please call the number on the back of your card for all questions and troubleshooting. While we accept these cards in store, we do not manage the program and are not able to advise on issues that may arise.

What items are covered?

Product eligibility varies by health plan. You can learn what items are covered by using the product scanner in your Healthy Benefits Plus mobile app. Additionally, you can learn more about covered items from your health plan by logging into your account on HealthyBenefitsPlus.com or calling the number on the back of your card.

Can I use an EBT (SNAP or WIC) card with my health benefit card?

Yes, you can use a card for EBT (SNAP or WIC) with your health benefits card.

Check your balance by calling the number on the back of your card or by logging into your account on HealthyBenefitsPlus.com . Make sure to check when your benefits expire.
