Ingredients
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Tajin seasoning
ice, for serving
3 cups carrot juice
1 cup vodka
2 large lemons, juice only
2 Tbs olive or pickle brine
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot sauce, to taste
carrots, olives or lemon slices, for garnish
Directions
  1. Add the salt, pepper and Tajin seasoning to a saucer. Dip the rims of six short glasses (or three tall glasses) in water and then in the seasoning. 
  2. Fill glasses with ice. In a pitcher, combine carrot juice, vodka, lemon juice, brine, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. 
  3. Pour into glasses. Garnish with carrots, olives or lemon slices.

Carrot Juice: Using a high-powered blender or juicer, add sliced carrots and 1/4 cup of water per pound of carrots. Liquefy, and strain through a fine-mesh sieve lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth. (Makes 3/4 to 1 cup of juice per pound of carrots.)
