Ingredients
3 cups assorted fruit
1 lemon, lime or orange, sliced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brandy or liqueur
1 bottle wine
2 cups sparkling water (optional)
ice, for serving
fresh herbs, for garnish
Directions
  1. Place assorted fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher.
  2. Add citrus, sugar and liqueur.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for one hour.
  5. Add wine.
  6. Chill until ready to serve.
  7. Add sparkling water, and stir to combine.
  8. Fill wine glasses with ice.
  9. Spoon some of the fruit into each glass, and pour in the sangria.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs.
