Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon red wine is made from grapes grown on Sonoma and Mendocino County mountainsides and hillsides. Cabernet Sauvignon lots are blended with Merlot for softness, Cabernet Franc for tannins, Petit Verdot to enhance the mouthfeel, and Malbec for roundness. Sonoma County mountain and hillside vineyards add a superb wine structure. Mendocino County mountain vineyards impart blackberry and mocha flavors.
